Thread: Help needed

Hi all im a collector of straight razors oldish ones I have one that I can find nothing about not even a pic no reference to so hoping someone can help it's a Wilkinson army razor this is embossed on the blade too so if anyone has any info on it pls pls let me know

See if you can post some nice clear pictures of your razor. Close ups of the tang stamps will help a bunch.

It says Wilkinson on the tang but I will post a few pics of said razor I suspect it's an older one as it's not stainless steel

There are a lot of razors, even modern blades that are not stainless.

Oh I know that it was just from reading on the Wilkinson sword website they say that later models where made from stainless steel

Yes it does even down to the etching on the blade what year is it from

It's from 1908..... In razor years that's a teenager.

Awesome well for me it's an old one and I paid very little for it and it's in a good condition
