Thanked: 3222There is a bit of info in this thread on your Jones MFG Co razor http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...es-mfg-co.html .
I have a Torrey and a Joseph Turner razor from the time when he was on his own just before going to Torrey. I also have other US made razors and the steel and grinding have been excellent in the ones I have.
Most of us would be lucky to have had as interesting life as Joseph Turner had.

I've heard a lot of good things about Torrey, passed up quite a few of them over the years for some reason, but still like to pick one up eventually. Good looking steel on that one.
Regards,
Scott

Gee Mike............wish I are 47 again! Where did time go? I noticed the older we get, the faster time flies by.
Torrey's are fantastic shavers & although I don't have a jones I'm sure it is as good as many American makers as well.
