Thanked: 101U.S. Razor Co "Uncle Sam Razor
I picked up a 5/8" Uncle Sam Razor Imported from Germany. US Razor Co was located in St. Paul Mn. On the back of the tang it has Weissner Automatic Process. Germany is on the monkey tail. "Uncle Sam" is molded in the hard rubber front scale.
I can't find anything out about this really nice razor. More Pics when I get problems figured out. Slawman

Neat! I have seen some with 'Uncle Sam' on the front tang. I have a box and a set of those scales and have been looking for a nice blade forever to go in them.
I have a feeling it is one of those razors which could have come from any number of Barber's suppliers or hardware concerns.
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 101I like the box! This razor seems well made of good steel. It tales a great edge without much work. I just happened on it at a local flea market. Think I got it for $16.00, he was asking $20.00. I got my German "Red Imp" from the same guy for around the same price. At $3.00 it was a higher priced razor back in it's day. I have been trying to find out about the "Weissner Automatic Process" to no avail. Guess that's why I love the hunt!
