Thread: Razor Help!

Can someone tell me How much a mint condition shave ready J. R. Torrey is worth?

Not trying to be a wiseacre, but it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I like Torreys a lot, and have found them to be excellent shavers almost without exception, but they're not the most collected brand around, nor are they particularly rare, both conditions which diminish their overall value somewhat.

Its one of those cases where you can get a really nice razor in great condition that gives a super great shave for a great price. I think American brand razors are under appreciated. I think they are superior to the Solingen stuff. Like most vintage U.S things including watches they are the best period.
