Thanked: 55Gregory bros. Was stainless always marked?
Honing up an old ebay find for a friend. Seems hard as all hell. Two hundred strokes on chosera 1k to remove tiniest bit of pitting and set a good bevel. Curious if maybe is unmarked stainless. Don't own any stainless razors so have nothing to compare it to.

Thanked: 55I'm wrong about the stainless methinks. Just stepped up to 3k and dwarfed up beautifully. Do sometimes think the 3k pro is faster than the 1k though.

Thanked: 4249Guess you answered your own question... but usually razors made out of Stainless are stamped as such.

I'll stick my neck out and say there aren't any vintage razors from Sheffield made from stainless.
