Default Trying to date this razor-Robert KlaasGermany-Kissing Crane 401 (Not Prussia)

Just bought this sweet straight razor from New Bedford antiques, and have been looking it up on line to see if I could date it. Robert Klaas Kissing Crane 401
It doesn't say Solingen Germany, just Germany. It also doesn't say Prussia on the stamp as do models from the early 19th century,so it's got to be pegged somewhere in the 1800s'?
If anyone with some knowledge of vintage straight razors could tell me,
    it would be appreciated.

Kind of difficult to pin that down considering "Prussia" ceased to exist officially in 1947. The stamping of "Germany" would seem to indicate pre WWII to me. Post war the German razors I have seem to be stamped Solingen without Germany.

It depends when the term "Prussia" fell out of common use and was replaced by "Germany". If I had to guess I'd say post WWI to post WWII.

Maybe a German member has a better grip on this.

If I recall correctly Klass razors are strictly 20th century and most are WWll era. After WWll Klass bought the rights to the Bertrum (Hen and Rooster) razors and made them through the 1950s and later.

Also if you google Robert Klaas makers mark there is a fair amount of information on dates just by the subtle changes on the cranes an how they are standing.

Thanks for posting the photos but they are not clear enough to see the stampings on both sides of the tang.
