Frameback question
Just picked up a frameback yesterday and had a question on the possible maker. There are no markings on the front side of the blade. But on the back side seems to be a name in cursive writing.
The name is faint and hard to see, and looks to say W. Norvek.
Is this the maker?
Where would it be from?
What year/century?
Thanks

Looks like something very faint on other side. Check with magnifier. As for the script looks like the owner etched his name on it. Good luck.

There were at times five or more makers using a variation of the pHeart stamp.

Look on strazors.com. It has the right date and look of George Wostenholm frame back.
