King Cutter
I found a King Cutter razor at a flea market a few months ago but never really came around to hone it. Today I finally realised I had the time to give her some attention! Oh man, just the feeling of honing it tells me something about the quality of the razor. The last razors I have honed gave me a hard time (guess thats why I didnt hone the king cutter earlier - didnt wanna risk ruining it), but with this one everything went so smooth. No problem and I got a really good edge. Or at least that is what the tests I usually do tells me, I will shave with it tomorrow morning to se how it actually turned out!
I got the feeling that the King Cutter is a really easy razor to hone. I also have a friend who's first razor was a King Cutter and he managed to hone it by him self without any help or info... While honing it I asked myself if this would be a good razor for learning to hone? I realise that with old razors there are many factors in the shape they are in that will affect the honing process... But it was a thought I wanted to put out there to get your input on.
Im verry exited to try it out tomorrow!Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur
