Don't nick yourself with that one!! :gth
Are you listing these razors here or e-Bay?

Gentlemen, I've list another Thiers Issard razor. This one is the historic "gorge" razor with the horn covered tang. You can view the listing here:

As always, no reserve. Hope you guys enjoy.
Regards,
EL
FYI Shaving & Razor Shop are now showing as having 8 of the Pierre Thiers handforged razors in stock, although they actually only have 7. ;)
Pricey but not many left of these for sale...

Hopefully this one will be a keeper (unlike the one you sold to Joel)
Cheers

For that kind of money, why not just buy a Custom razor?
Because getting a razor hammered by Pierre Theirs is something else - even if purely for the history. (Lucky me - I do have a custom from Robert, and a TIPTLE; this is chunk change for some members but I am very happy I have them)
Cheers
Ivo
what is a Tiptle if you dont mind me asking
Yeah they're a lot of money, but having owned one before I have to say it's worth it (IMO). I wish I'd never sold my first one to Joel now, it was one of the best shavers I've tried so far - and one of the nicest and most unique looking razors too (again, IMO).
Yes it's 'custom' money, but hopefully people like RW and ML will be around for a few more years and their razors will still be available, unlike Pierre's creations. :)
TIPTLE is the acronym for Thiers Issard Pierre Thiers Limited Edition
At any rate, regardless of how historically valuable they may be, I think they're ugly, ugly, ugly. There's probably a reason good ol' Pierre stashed them away under his bench.
There, I said it. Hmm, I wonder what that low rumble and crackling sound is....
