All I know is that my SSA is a 4/8 hollow ground that takes a fine edge. I have seen larger sized blades that also looked to be hollow ground.

I have a 5/8'" and a 7/8" and both are hollow ground. They are also excellent shavers.

Seeing this thread reminded me that I hadn't shaved with my NOS 11/16 Quarter Hollow SAS in awhile. That was my shave this morning. It took a fine edge and was easy to hone. I have a couple of other Scandinavian make razors and find that Swedish steel is easy to get a fine edge on.
