Default Intricately engraved Soligen Peaso Extra 101

I have a very special razor and I was wondering if anyone has more information on it! It is a Peaso Extra made by Solingen with the #101 on the blade. It is in mint condition with the original box ! I believe it is from the 20's and I haven't been able to find a blade with this detailed engraving on it. The blade is extremely sharp and I think the red circle on the handle is enamel. There are no cracks throughout the whole handle and really no rust. The engraving is really beautiful and finely detailed.

If anyone has any more information on this I'd love to hear it!

    Thank you

Peaso is fairly common, as are worked spines. Good blades, FME

    Couple things for you:

    1) Yes it is a very nice razor and a great find, congratulations.
    2) Just for your information, the term "Mint" means something VERY specific in the razor community. Mint means no hone wear (from sharpening), no oxidation, rust, missing paints, scratches, ect... You have a nice razor in Very Good to Excellent condition, but it is not a Mint razor.
    3) What it's worth.... The best way to find worth for vintage items is to see what others have sold for. The best and easiest way is to do a search for sold items on ebay. It's against forum rules to ask for, or give values for, razors or other objects. It has caused a LOT of strife in the past and it has not been allowed since then.

I hope you take the opportunity and find someone to one it for you and start your wet shaving journey!

Thank you for the information MattCB. I do agree that it is in near mint but not quite mint condition. Thanks for the clarification and if anyone is interested they can find it on ebay this week... Thanks again
