That's great to know Andrew. It looks nice! I have seen some of the auctions go cheap. I hope that is how you got yours.

    Thanks Andrew!

I've been watching these Riga razors on the Bay and wondered...

Saw that one, gather it's his "Art Piece"....there were 8 or 9 razors in his listing the last week or two...think he mentioned he has some new one's coming, and as he told me, he does quite a lot of custom orders as well.

Just got this one back from Val at The Gentleman's Den, who put a stellar edge on this razor. While I am not bad at honing, for my prize razors, Val simply puts the best edge I've ever shaved from, and his use of the Escher for the finishing is superb.

Love this one that Sergej of RigaRazor did, in the style of the Mappin "Lancet Edge", beautiful lines and superb hollow grinding.

Riga, "Lancet Edge" Razor, 29.5mm, 9/8 +, Tungsten Carbon Steel.

That's got a very cool profile. Spine definition really jumps out at ya. Nice shade of horn scales as well.

Can you take a pic of the grind of the razor? I really like the lines and the flow, but I want to see how hollow it is ground. Thanks
