I own a few Friodurs and they are excellent shavers that disprove the myth that stainless steel blades are inferior or more difficult to hone than carbon steel blades.

Pity that the company got out of straight razors, even though I found some of the later models (usually black handle with no model number on shank or tail) were not up to the same standard.

I have one of them with the scalloped spine, INOX Stainless Steel, surprised me at first at how light it was and how long the blade is - huge, and the it being 8/8, like shaving with a scythe, but DFS without any effort and the edge on them is as smooth as velvet on the skin - you'll love it, now just forget about it till it get's there or you'll go nuts, but then again, that's half the fun!!

Nice find! I have one stainless razor, and it shaves every bit as well as any of my carbon blades. Maybe you can get away with not shaving Monday morning and give it a test as soon as it arrives

Well can you believe the USPS has lost this package!!!!!

I can't win for losing! I filed a claim and they are going to try and find it! Hopeful but not expecting they will.

Well the post office finally found the package or had it on horse and carriage to NC from NY! Either way it is here and I am very happy with the razor. Straight and in EC from what I see. The pivot was a bit lose at closing and the razor would fall shut. I few taps with a jewelers hammer and small anvil and they are tight again.
