I own 6/8 in horn and love beauty and function. Function being the only razor I have ever shaved with....

You will love it! I really like that horn scales can be so unique and different, and when they are paired with a terrific blade like an Aust you get a sure winner

I've been wanting to start straight razor shaving and have been looking at dovo and the Ralph aust razors. I've been leaning towards the aust. What are yall's thoughts?

You will not be disappointed I assure you. In fact if this is your first and not really sure about the waters might I suggest their base scale model with the plastic black scales for $103 I believe the cost. Without a doubt the best shaver I have and the cheapest! And if you dislike the basic scales down the road just simply find a reputable scale maker and get it re-scaled and voila, a beauty for the ages!German blade snob!
