It was wrapped and it was nasty wrap , cleaned out the rust under the wrap .
It looks much better wrapped but I guess i should try it w/o anything to see how it handles

I would start with what look you want. Natural or synthetic, then color. It will help narrow down your choices because they're almost endless...

Edit: From what I recall from your previous posts. Before you do any of that, I would try shaving with it to see if you like it then mess around with wraps..

I've never had one of those, but I've admired some I've seen on the web. I would look at images of kamisoris and find one that I like the style of wrap. Then I would see if there is a youtube vid, or a tutorial, on how to wrap the handle correctly.

Through web tutorials I became very proficient at taping the bend (handlebars) on tour de france type bicycles. I can do it to where it is a professional job. That is what I'd shoot for if I had one of those razors.

Leather lace is the material I found that seems ok, I did not like the rust under the handle that I found so I sanded that down and sprayed zinc spray over it. I will shave w/o any wrapping while I do hunt a style that I like and go from there
