That's excellent Mike. I would love to see the down the road plans come to fruition - to see such a hallmark brand return with Sheffield steel and a Made in Sheffield mark would be quite an accomplishment. Best of luck!

I would like to down the road, by adhering to the stipulations of the MIS certificate and with Charles' say-so, offer some blades that are perhaps made with Sheffield steel (cut, stamped in Sheffield) but then finished in SA, that then bear the MIS mark.. but that is down the road and only some inner plannings of mine for the time being.

I know exactly how you feel. It happened to me once and because of that event I was hesitant to join into this group. I was beginning to feel like I had a mistake again, but hopefully the smoke has cleared, I don't know. Black listing someone is a hard thing for the person. I have not understood this site very well and has contributed to some of the confusion.
