Thread: eBay Japanese razor

A while back I picked up a Nippon Kakoh Seishi K. K. Best Steel - Yasuki Steel Japanese straight razor. I looks quite nice and is very nicely finished. Does anyone know anything about this brand?

I think you'll find that as with western razors in the golden age of straights there were thousands of brands being sold and the same is true with japanese razors. There are many brands that most of us here have never heard of in western straights let alone Japanese straights. I think if its good steel and appears to be well made and takes and holds an edge its probably a quality razor.
