Thanked: 0Dittert&Co ?
Hi everyone..
Got this in the mail the other day, and having searched the net, I think it must have been made by J.E.Dittert & Co. from Neustadt, Germany.
But in my search i have not found anything about razors, only knifes.
Anyone who could shed some light on this razor?
I have measured it to be a 9/16"
(The scales are broken as you can see, so i also have to make up my mind if I want to restore it, or just make it a collection piece.)
Thanx in advance for any insight about the razor.

Thanked: 4249J. E. Dittert & Co., GmbH, Taschenmesser- und Chirugerie-Instrumente-Fabrik, Neustadt im Sachsen, which means J. E. Dittert & Co., Inc., Pocketknife and Surgical Instrument Factory, Neustadt in Saxony, Germany.
As with most Surgical Instrument makers, razors were made for this usually with metal scales.

Why not replace the scales, hone and shave with it, that's what I would do. I may be weird but if it doesn't shave.................Enjoy!
