    Default Need parts for custom shavette

    Does anyone have any clue where I can buy the arms/clip/blade housing for a shavette? I'm planning on making a custom shavette for a friend but I don't want to cannibalize parts from another razor, especially if I make more in the future.

    I'm looking for the blade housing like a parker SR1, or something like that. I'm not a fan of the dovo type blade housing.

    If you have a friend who is a machinist, they could make it without charging you through the nose. The dovo would be easiest to replicate. Or you could buy a cheap bench mill, but that would take time to learn basic machining skills. Depends on the time frame.
