I'd bet the farm it is ivory. No doubt about it.

Sweet! I originally thought it was, then started to doubt myself. Too bad the blade has some pitting. Still a very nice blade though.

I'm wrinkled like a damned prune. The skin on my face looks like a piece of goatskin leather on a high end Bible. My hair is grey/white. Goes with the age. A buddy of mine started using the anti grey stuff till his hair was dark brown. He got a face lift and his face looked like the skin on a drum. Started chasing young gals and caught one. She took him for every dime he had and ditched him. Now he is in a home suffering from dementia .......... and looks like he is 40 even though he is 75. All of that to say ...... the pitting adds character.

I took those when I was a second year apprentice working for Allied Structural Steel at the National (airplane) hanger in Miami.

I have seen ivory scaled razors with turtle and horn wedges.

Quality razor, Collar less pins, Super thin scales and the feel. The feel is the tell.

Feel your gal’s buffed finger nail without polish, that is what ivory feels like.

Feel some plastic and buffed horn, nothing feels like ivory. It feels silky, almost like it has oil on it.
