The first letter may be a 'P' ... and the second part may be 'N**lhut' ..... or something close.

    Any help ?!?

Do you see an 'A' ?!?
I sort of think it is an 'N' .... in my mind's eye I can see the point being the left side the N and the curve going down to join it (It just looks too close to be a differernt letter .... but heck - could be a P. A. Something .... I'm thinking it ends in either ulhut or ulhat

Try rubbing some chalk on it or pencil lead and see if that reveals more of the name.

Is it French, English, German, American...?
If you don't know, can you post a picture of the whole razor? Maybe we get the country down from the style.
The country will limit the number of makers and name spellings.
I'm leaning toward French based on the font of the script.

I looked & looked but hd no luck. It being a French razor, it is hard to find information on some of those along with a few Swedish & many German, Japanese & so on. I wish there were ,ore books on them.
