Looks like multipurpose garden equipment. Shave in the morning and cut the weeds in the afternoon.

They were used to shave Pig/Hog Skin after butchering...
I have seen them on E-bay for the last 10 years mostly advertised as Civil War Relics which we all know is Complete BS in the 1860's razors were when known and represented..
In fact we have a rather good line on razors back to the late 1600's
What these are / were I have no conclusive evidence.. I just know what there are not

Thanked: 44How do they shave? That's what I've always wanted to know. If it is in fact for shaving pigs, then fine. I have a WB I keep for shaving pigs. Hone it up and let us know. Don't worry about diseases. Contrary to popular opinion, pigs are clean animals.
