Going to remove the scales tonight after work, they are in such bad shape that I worry about them damaging the blade further. Still waiting on the tests on some handle material, see how it stands up

I think what makes the blade a dwarf is the length of the blade not the width. I assume thats shorter than your regular razors.

3 of my 5 razors are DD Dwarfs so they all look the same length to me. However the one with a chunk missing may get the cutting disc treatment to shorten it. Making it useable again (good practice anyway ) I'm going to cut off the cheap plastic scales and clean it up and get it ready for new scales. I'll hone out the chip and drive on, still planning on getting 7 dwarf's for a set Trying not to start calling them by the dizzyland names is going to be hard...

Greave news on this one. When I got this I looked over it quickly and put it away till I was ready to work on it. Well I got it out tonight to remove the scales and clean it up a bit. What I thought was a small scratch turned out to be a hairline crack going all the way to the spine, an inch from the heel...

I think it's safe to say this one is a total loss. Shame really, it apears to be hardly used at all.

Oh well, looks like my first bummer of an Ebite purchase...

Look on the bright side: A little tap tap with a hammer on that cracked razor and you can have a matching set.

Sorry to hear about that; it's a shame to see a good blade go to waste.
