I have this lost and lonely razor can somebody help me give him a name? the pic is not great but the makers mark looks like a church spire with a crown over it .it also has a 40 on the end

Thanked: 433Can you post pictures of the full blade, not just the marks. It's really hard to see anything on the ones you posted. Use the macro setting on the camera if it has one

IMHO this razor is a vintage french wedge, grounded later.
I'd say it should be from the 1850 - 1870 years, perhaps from the Brittany region.

After not finding the marks in my Gales & Martin, I figured it was most likely French & your dating seems appropriate Thaeris.
