I would get a good microfiber cloth to really clean off the face of the blade. Really polish it up, then post more pics. Right now, it is kinda hard to see if they actually go down into the bevel.

Don't flex it, if they are cracks, it'll make it worse playing around too much.

Yeah it goes to the bevel that's why I tried flexing it but it couldn't flex.

I'd strop her up on paste ~50x and see how she shaves.

Sounds the same as my other razors

+1 to what's been said. It looks like a crack. I'm generally not scared of cracks (or even chips, I'll leave some in if it's a historic razor and just be careful with it), as long as they don't to damage to a strop.

I know what you're saying if you barely did it. Usually if it is a crack one side of the blade will move. I have done that. It might be okay. If you try it on an old strop, belt or some leather & it doesn't leave a mark in that particular spot, try stropping it on a good strop but be careful at first. If no marks, keep stropping & see if she shaves.

Shaved with it tonight. Seems like a great shaver. Didn't feel that line at all but the point on this thing...is this a spike point? Made this scales for my wade and butcher but didn't notice I grabbed the wrong blade till after I peened the pivot pin...oh well, gonna leave it in this scales. Sits a little off center tried tapping the pin one way or the other as I read in another post but didn't get it centered. I can live with it though
