It looks great as it is! I sometimes polish vintage blades and sometimes leave the aged finish; I think that one looks terrific with the patina left on.

Great find! I have been striking out lately. More and more people seem to be looking and driving up prices

Thanked: 101So far I have only bought razors & strops in the wild. I have some bought new hones but several bought in the wild stones also.
I am not a fan of Patina. It just shows me that the razor has not been touched in a LONG time. I will bet hardly any razors from back in the day had patina on them when in use back in the day. If you are from any part of the country except near me"LOL" go out in the field & get the razors & shaving equipment before it is gone or the price is sky high. I love to use vintage stuff that I have restored. My grandpa said I should have been born in 1850 to see the Industrial Revolution in person.
