Rifle Razor
I'm going by memory, but has anyone ever heard of a Rifle Steel, or Rifle Brand razor out of, I believe, Chicago? It has a rifle along the inside of the blade. A local antique store has one for $35. I'm very curious about this razor because it is in pristine condition. It has never seen a hone! The spine's shoulders are still perfectly round, where as they're normally flat from honing.

Thanked: 0I have one!
Mine has the engraved picture of the rifle and the words "Celebrated Rifle Razor" on the blade. On the tang it says "Challenge Cutlery Brigdgeport Conn." The scales are very plain black celluloid.
I can't tell you how it shaves because it's still in my "needs restoration" box. I paid $25 for it at a local flea market, with a bit of light rust but no deep pitting on the blade.

Could be it.
Yeah, that could be it. Like I said I was going by memory. The antique store had about fifty old razors in a shoe box (They seem to put all these things in boxes. I encountered the same thing at another store 100 miles away!) and after I got finished, I couldn't remember what was what. It didn't help either that all these old razors are stashed in unmatched boxes. I guess if you paid $25 for a rusted one, I should pick up this one just because of the condition it's in.
