    Default Puma

A friend of mine found this Puma at a swap meet for me. It is in great shape and took an edge with surprisingly little effort. The shave is great, really liking this one. Just showing it off and wondering if anyone has info that is not in the library on this site. If you have a Puma or two show it off.

The little smudges in the pic came of with WD-40. Price was right so I am a happy little shaver today.

Very nice catch John. Here is a thread with a whole lotta Pumas, and a few other cats http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...needs-one.html

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

This is my first Puma, but I can see it being used frequently.

I have had several of those and they do no disappoint. One might say the 5/8 puma special is their flagship model.

I have a Puma... looks just like it. Mine is number 92 and the blade decoration says "Puma" and "ARS DIVINA". I don't know what the number means. It's a very nice razor.

Puma's are amongst the best shavers you can find. Several years ago they were like Filarmonica's are now. They were hard to find and cost a mint.

Fickle shavers went on to other pastures and Pumas are affordable again. I have a few myself.

Hey Spendur, do you know what the number means? Mine is an excellent shaver. Was given to me by a barber's widow. Don't know the value, but I think I'll keep it.

The higher the number the "better" the razor. The "high class" models seem to be the top of the line and as I recall have numbers in the 90s. They also made some limited edition super high end pieces.

Used my Puma 91 this am and got a fantastic shave. They hone easily and really keep their edge. Had 5 now down to 2. Also like vintage Sheffield steel razors. Can't go wrong with a Puma.
