The company never recovered from the 2 fires, bad business, bad insurance, went out of business in 1914, sold its rights to the "Tested XX" trademark to W. R. Case and sons.

I think if there was a fire & there was a bucket nearby, I would check to see what's in it first before throwing it on a fire.
