    I'm glade someone here got that old case - I was bidding on it and then it disappeared. Last year I got one probably from a similar time period:

    I bid on the one you bought, but I was so sad not to have won that I offered a direct purchase on this one. The last image is a french 17th century tradecard . Here is the whole picture:
