    Default Another vintage Sheffield concave

I just purchased this Marshes & Shephed 6/8 concave razor with horn scales from Silverloaf. His razors always come in great condition with fabulous edges. I am really hooked on these vintage Sheffields. Bought a John Cockhill from Silverloaf that also is an amazing shaver. I find the concave so much easier to use and these blades take a great edge, don't seem to be as harsh as say the German blades and shave smooth as silk. Will be looking for more once the addition to my bathroom is done to hold them.Name: IMG_0366.jpg

So the spine is concave and the edge is convex -- I call it "smiling" -- because I'm easily confused

Congrats on a good looking razor! I have an old Marshes & Shepherd stub tail that got reground at some point in its life, she also has a smile and holds a great edge.
