Thanked: 0Granfathers Razors ??
I am sorting through old family belongings and have come across a couple of Straight Razors in outstanding condition, one is in its original cardboard box and is a Attaraugus Cutlery Co Blade and it also says Little Valley New York, all is printed on the box and engraved at the base of the Blade. The second is in an original Metal Box and is marked Durham Derby, Durham Duplex Razor Co., New York, London, There is a full box of Durham Duplex blades inside with the razor and on the inside of the lid it is engraved "To be used with Durham Duplex Blades, Durham Duplex and a Hallmark of some sort are also engraved in the Blade itself. There is also a Nice very fine sharpening stone that is marked "FRANC SWATY MARIBOR UGOSLAVIJA" and lastly a Leather Sharpening Strap with no Markings. Can anyone tell me if any of this is desirable to collectors?? Thank You for your help!!

The Cattaraugus razor and Swaty hone are good items if in fine condition.
Durham Duplex, notsomuch.
We cannot do any appraisals here, but you may go and do a search on Ebay and see what items like yours are going for.

The answer to your question is yes, there are collectors that would be interested in those if the condition is very good. The value can only be determined by putting them up on an auction site and seeing what they bring.
