Thanked: 1Poshland
Has anyone tried Poshland Damascus steel razors? I notice they're not listed on the "do not buy" list, but I would like some more specific feedback if anyone can help. Thanks!

Thanked: 1Why? What is wrong with them? I am trying to get a sense of what makes a good razor and from what I can see, they seem to have the specs. They claim they have 58-60 hardness and are folded steel rather than cable-forged and some Amazon reviewers claim that they work well. I know some Amazon reviewers are planted, which is why I came here looking for more specific feedback. Is it because they are larger and heavier than others?

No, Dave. We cannot let you do this. Total junk, my friend!
Hang loose. Read in this forum.
Good quality can be had cheap. Don't fall for the bling!
Where are you located? Look in the classifieds and the vendors here.
BTW, unless you are selling this stuff, go up to beginner's forum and introduce yourself in the member introductions. Best path!Last edited by sharptonn; 11-10-2016 at 02:18 AM.

Thanked: 101What these guy's have said. If you only have less that $50 or so to spend on a razor get a great vintage razor honed & stropped by someone who knows what they are doing.
New does not mean better as long as it's new junk. It's hard to go wrong with a vintage razor in good shape. You can get into the good new razors for around $120.00 or so.

It would seem the OP did not like the answers he was given.
Had he bought one and is unhappy with the responses, or is he peddling them?
We will likely never know!
