Many of the designs seem to be more for display then actual shaving. There are some pretty cool looking razors on the website but most of them seem bulky and awkward.

There are all kinds of crazy designs out there in razors. Many are true custom pieces and are of great quality but to me it's the old form vs function thing. A razor is number one a tool and as such it needs to be made not only to shave with but for stropping and honing and anything that compromises any operation pretty much says it all about the piece.
