J.A.Henckels Zwillingswerk 72
Hi guys ,
Recently I've been looking for a Solingen blade. My brother owns a few and after honing up his Flowing blade I was impressed with the feel of the edge.
I've been looking at J.A.Henckels 72 1/2 blades , realising the ones with the stamped number on the tail goes for less than the tang stamped ones.
I came across this blade for next to nothing so I grabbed it..
I thought is was a 72 1/2 but in fact its a 72, no half?
What's that number in reference to, the blade size?
I'd like your thoughts on this model please, cheers.. Joseph

Thanked: 259172 is a square point, 72 1/2 is a round point. A NOS 72 is 13/16 measured from the top of the spine to the edge.
