Thanked: 1Trying to date a Wade & Butcher Sheffield with no logo
Hello,
I am new here and trying to figure out what date my razor is so I can try to put a value on this. I purchased a group of items and this razor was in it. Someone told me it was fairly valuable but I have no clue, I don't know if it was made in the 1800's or 1900's. I would appreciate any help on it. I don't have a picture yet but it is pretty straight forward since there is no logo. I have searched the internet but to no avail. It has horn scales. The blade as an eagle on it and beneath each of its wings it says American Razor (in script). Between the blade and the scale where they attach it says: MANUFACTURED BY
WADE & BUTCHER
SHEFFIELD
And that is it. There is no logo. Any idea when this would have been made. I greatly appreciate your help with this. Thank you.
