Heljestrand or not?
I came across an online auction with this familiar looking razor. The blade looks like a C. V Heljestrand MK but the tang and the box reads Swan, Eskilstuna, Sweden. Also i never saw that etching on MK razors. What do you think?

Thanks Alex. But what about Eskilstuna Sweden? And that lovely thumb notch
Even stabilizer looks like Mr. Heljestrand's work.

Thanked: 4830Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, I believe is the old expression. Makers often imitate each other in many many ways and not just razors either.

German razor makers have used Swedish steel for razors. Razor looks very Heljestrandish. Rebranded Heljestrand?

I've seen a number of Bengalls, and a few other makers, that have that same style (they came from Sweden), e.g.:
