Default Max Sprecher Custom on the way!

I couldn't help myself...call it a little holiday cheer with a side of a new job, and some relocation happening (moving back to Ohio). Change is in the air...so I decided to reward myself with something truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Thanks to SRD for stocking this beast (albeit briefly). Here is a pic from SRD...I will post my own when it arrives next week!

Also happy to support some fellow Ohioans at SRD (I grew up in Dayton)....even if they are from that city up north....

It will be my first Sprecher, but this razor appears to be a masterpiece. Between the inlays and scales, the MOP on the spine...I mean it is kind of ridiculous/off the hook! Arrival is scheduled for Tuesday...it will be a tough wait!

Boy, you've got a real gem of a razor there. I absolutely love the inlays. Max's work is second to none and someday soon I too will have something on his "to do" list.
All the folks that are involved with SRD are exceptional. I was fortunate enough to attend the meet in Medina, Ohio that they hosted in November. First class all the way.
You fell into a win win situation!
    Congratulations and enjoy!

I have bought a number of blades from them before and couldn't agree more...it just has a little more meaning now that I am returning home after a 20 year hiatus. Having that resource but a couple of hours away will be awesome! Hope fully I will get up sooner rather than later!

Congratulations. Max makes great blades that are beautiful, and boy do they shave!

One of my first customs was one f Max,s, I still have it, there is never anything about it that makes me want to sell. His edges are killer too, but if yours is like mine those sharp corners on both ends are something to any attention too. Great score. Tc

That's pretty darn special, there. Is that MOP laid into the spine?
