Swiss razors
I've owned german english and usa razors but never one made by the swiss. I know henckels are good names in german and sheffields like wade and butcher are good names in them. what would be the notable names in the swiss razors. now i cant spell those names or pronounce them but i do see that there quite expensive. just wondering what others think.

My wife is half Swiss. I could use that to justify getting another blade.

Erik Antonberg of Eskilstuna Sweden, made some nice ones. If your looking for vintage blades, that is.

Thanked: 52the only swiss razors i know are those from lecoultre (link above). but i am not really into framebacks so i have never tried to get one.
acutually, i own two razors with swiss dealers' (?) marks on the tang (e. eichenberger, basel; jaggi-heyer, berne), but i don't think that these are swiss made razors. and then i have a swedish heljestrand with a swiss dealer's mark (o. linder, basel), but that's it...
except for the makers of the swiss army knives (victorinox and wenger) there haven't been too many manufacturers of cutlery in switzerland, as far as i know.
