    Where on Earth do you find this info?! my google button must be broken hahaha! I have only had one razor marked Robinson, Bishopsgate within and tried finding info, never came up with the goods.

    Don't feel bad/whenever I try to find such information I get nowhere. Seems my deceased father was right as one of his Favorite Sayings was:

    Perhaps Robinson was the maker after all, according to this advertisement from 1865.

    sweet. so london or shrewsbury. possibly as early as 1865. shes in amazing shape if pushing 150 years old. was easy to put a nice sharp edge on.

    Digging thru boxes I came across my E H Robinson, The tang shows the address as 52 & 53 Bishopsgate, Within. That would fit well with the picture seen In Martins post (post #2) the building occupying the two addresses, I presume as marked 53 on the left of the building as we face it, 52 on the right where it is simply marked Robinson. I know that little detail may not add a lot but I found it interesting in light of the picture Martin shared.
