Cracker jack straight razor
I was wonering if anyone on the forum would be able to tell me where this straight razor was made or by who. The only thing it says on the tang is "CRACKER JACK". I bought it off of ebay for pretty good price. I have seen others listed for sale and sold on the web, but there is never any info on who, when or where these were made. Here are some pictures from the sellers listing. I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Thanks!

Thanked: 4249Welcome to SRP ninjack, Your razor looks to be in very good condition, there was a few companies that used the Cracker Jack trademark for razors. One of them was Boker a german made razor with the trademark but different from yours.
The Southington cutlery co from Connecticut had one also, still different from yours.
Also a german made for N. Caldarone, Belleville New Jersey.
Some without any makers.
But all these examples are different from your razor, I believed that your razor was made in Germany around 1900-1920, when they produce tons of razors for different outfits, and perhaps it was for Paul Mueller from San Antonio?

Thank you for the information. I couldn't find much on the internet, but this is very helpful.

As long as it didn't come as a prize in a box of candy you are probably OK with that one.
