Dovo paper stone scales
Check out this guy. Never seen this one before. Anyone have experience with this razor? Wondering what the "paper stone" is all about and couldn't find any reviews?

I have never seen the La Forma, just photos. It is certainly an interesting set of scales. Some people indicate that the unusual shape of the scales makes it difficult holding the razor while honing or stropping. Since I do not have one, I cannot confirm that issue, but I can see how it might occur.
I have never heard the "paper stone" description.

Thats a lot of curve in those scales. I could see it causing a bit of an issue stropping and honing. Still, A nice looking, different, razor.

Yeah...I love that shoulder less sweeping blade design. Wondering how flimsy a full hollow shoulder less blade is? I haven't seen that design much on full hollow straights and I assume because there is too much flex. Flex=stitches IMO.
I agree with you both about the scales, "Paper stone" sounds an aweful lot like "paper weight". Hoping to have someone chime in about this guy and how much those scales weigh. I have a straight that had its scales redone in thick wood and it is border line unwieldy. I am confused now. one site lists this blade as half hollow (which makes sense being shoulder less) and another site discribes it as full hollow.

There are full hollow shoulderless razors so it could be either. My Revisor is a full hollow shoulderless blade.

Got it...no issues with the grind. Question still stands, what the heck is paper stone?
