    Outback, that is an awesome pair of Wade & Butchers in your photos. Is that ebony? Beautiful grain. There is nothing like the look and feel of wood as SR scales. I tend to use mostly stabilized woods. Well done. Austin

    Yes sir, they are B&W ebony.
    This was my first two day set, though I swapped out one of the wedges for a hollow ground that Tom sent for replacement. The wedge was in a bad way, and needs reground. So now they look like this.

    One of the many uses of Ballistol...

    I use tung oil on wood scales and brush handles.

    I got the Howard feed-n-wax and it seems to have worked great, big bottle too, i'll be dead before this sucker is used up. Thanks for the tips!
