I just received a crucker razor off of the bay. I was wondering a few things about it,
Like where and when it was made. I bought it because I liked the look of it. I'm just a little curious about its history. I was planning on cleaning it up to as nice as my ability will let me, hone it and see how it shaves.

Looks like an old Boker made for Crucker. Likely a retailer or such. Ivory tang!

I have tried to find out info on it, and I'm coming up with nothing.
But I'm going to keep trying. I'll look up some old bokers and compare thanks

I agree with Tom. It looks like the Boker in the top photo of this page from the Boker Brotherhood. The Boker is model no. 1336 I believe.

I did find out it does have the name brown&??? Hardware on the tang. Which I was able to find out with the advice of Addison. He said to rub wax on it wipe off the excess to reveal what it says. He said he believes it's a crown and sword which was made by Boker. And after looking at the pic link from Leatherstockiings it's a match to that pic for sure just not as pretty! Thank you guys for the help.

Well after doing some research of pics and old ads, Leatherstockiings is absolutely right that it's a boker #1336 made for brown & ???? Hardware from around 1902 - 1907.And after I magnified it it actually says Crocker on the blade the patina hides the top o the O. I will eventually be restoring this razor because it is an awesome shaver, so I plan to bring it to as original condition as I can. Thank you for all the help I look forward to using this razor for many years to come.
