Help ID straight razor ....FVS....
I have a razor 6/8 with marks FVS on one side and best silver steel extra hollow ground germany on other side.... i cant find anything about FVS it is a manufacturer or name of the buyer... anyone that have some info about this razor...manufacture, solingen or Sheffield?

Not sure myself.....a lot of times you will see that some of the major German makers rebadged razors in a retailers name or another company that I assume ordered "X" amount to be manufactured. I will say that saw tooth jimp profile reminds me a lot of a Tuckmar razor I have.

BTW- Looks to be a 5/8??? The edge looks like it will need to be "butterknived" then a full bevel reset and then progression back through the stones. Should make a nice razor once it has had a facelift!
