Thread: Koraat custom ID help

I'm looking at doing my own custom razor and it seems like these blades have a black finish but when I go into the razor configuration I think I'm overlooking what option that is.

Anyone with an idea?

I think it's the option "DLC coating" down at the bottom of the configurator under the "Laser" option.
Nice blade by the way, I've ordered a Koraat blade too and I'm waiting for it to get ready.

If you look under laser down at the bottom of the configurator it is the DLC coating I believe that is what is pictured here IF I look at this right.

Of course all the way at the bottom when I had already given up looking for it. Looks like it's pretty sturdy stuff, anyone have any experience with DLC? Curious how it holds up to honing. I would be sending it off to someone like SRD to sharpen up when it needs it, wouldn't trust myself.

Remember any coating will come off over time. I have one of his razors with those scales and a twist spine with coating on the spine.
