    Default Le Coultre branded frameback.

I spotted a frameback with a LeCoultre frame a little while ago. The blade was in poor condition but I've never seen a LeCoultre branded frame on a frameback before. Anyway time ticked by and recently I was able to pick up a NOS LeCoultre blade to put in the frame. I've honed it up and it's a wonderful shaver. This one is definitely going into the collection.

Because his stuff was never patent it was imitated a lot, as a result there are a ton of other manufactures frambacks out there with his blades in it. I have what I believe is a French framback with one of his blades.

    Nice find.

Lots of buzz lately surrounding frameback razors, so I'm taking this as a sign to add one to my RAD list. The NOS Japanese one put up for sale last week in B/S/T really had me drooling.

That's the first one I've seen with Lecoultre branded on the tang! Very cool!

I've got three of them, two with changeable blades and a third with a fixed blade, and they're all superb shavers. Easy to hone, easy to strop.
