That's a beauty. You're going to enjoy shaving with it for sure. Congrats.

Nice find, affordable and in the wild. What could be better?!

So I just finished my first Duck shave. I went with @RezDog and finished on my Thuri after my Naniwa progression.

I did not make a slurry for this finish. Just kept the stone VERY wet. 50 or so laps and a stellar edge.

    This is a keeper.

    Very nice!
Sometimes the Wonderedge is a bit harder to hone.
Glad you got yours up to par!

At one time all you heard was talk about ducks and more recently almost nothing. Fickle those straight users.

Maybe the prices are coming down on them the same as with Puma's which were the cat's meow a few years ago.

The Wonderedge is a great razor.

Reading thru old posts and stuff. I think I started straights about 5 years too late. All the good stuff is gone. Looks like it could be had for a song a few years ago.

Or maybe you're on a rising tide! Are prices easing up or down? Are more razors being restored or are they rusting away? We might be saying exactly the same thing five years from now.
