Thread: Finally pulled the trigger!

After 3 months or so vacillating between razor brands, sizes, grinds, points, & scale material I finally tonight ordered myself a round point Dovo Astrale from Phil at Classic Edge Shaving. It's no replacement from my grandfather's heirloom razor that is nothing more than a memory, but the Astrale is beautiful and the etching on the blade sold me (amateur astronomer here). I can't wait for my first shave and give the Bluebeard's Revenge shavette a well earned rest.

Nice! Hope you enjoy every shave with it. Should be ready to go out of the box. I know Phil does a great job at making sure his razors are truly shave ready.

This is my first time ordering from Classic Edge. I must admit that the free honing is what clenched the deal. The fact that he's within Ontario (local-ish) was just extra gravy on the poutine!

Nice blade choice. I had to Google up the model to see what the etch looks like. Very nice indeed!
