2 Vintage Razors..
I picked up these two blades today.
One is a corn razor. Kind of looks like junk to me but I can use the Ivory scales and it cost me next to nothing.
It is stamped "Steadman Tunbridge Wells"..
Tunbridge wells is a Royal county in the UK.. I can not find any information on this little blade.
The other one cost me more than I liked but the dealer has been getting me quite a few blades for cheap and has a Georgian razor hone that he is gonna dig out for me.
The stamp is ""Burger & Baumgard. New York".. "Reliance " on the reverse .
The scales are quite thick Ivory . A 5/8ths I think .
Definitely wanna clean this up and shave with it. My first vintage USA blade.
A quick search told me that this company made knives//
Cheers

Thanked: 3226Interesting. That is the first time I have seen the type of scales on the B&B razor being made of ivory and thick too.
